I have an elusive defrosting problem with my Fridgidaire. I've replaced the glass-tube heating unit, the little round button-shaped thermostat, and the circulating fan (the appliance parts dealer gives me a vultureish grin every visit...), and tried advancing the defroster timer with a screwdriver, but still the freezer's as cold as the fridge should be, and the fridge isn't cooling. I think it's the defrost timer, but after advancing it until it "clicks" off, I don't know how to monitor its resumed function. In a word, HELP! Thanks, John C.
