: I have gone through 3 ignitors in one year on my 80000btu model #G6rc080c Frigidair, Nordyne.
: I make sure not to touch with fingers when putting in but they still break after a short time of use. Do you know why? Thanks Jeff

Your blower may be out of balance, causing excessive vibration during use. If the blower is dirty, the same thing can happen. If the ignitor is physically broken, then vibration is usually the result.
