We have a model#MSD2756AEW Maytag. Its a side by side and has a ice cube crushed ice and water control on the door.My problem is the controls don't work.I bought a control board that plugs into the door control panel and a solenoid with a plastic lever that attaches to a thing that keeps the opening to the ice chute closed. I put all the parts on and the ice/water worked fine for a day or two then things started happening the water would start running without hitting any button and the thing would start spitting out ice cubes without touching a thing. then finally we got nothing. When I took aprt where the control board was the plastic rod that connects to the solenoid was starting to melt like the first time and the control board had a resistor or something like that located to board in location TY2 and R12. can you help I don't want to buy all the items again to just do the same thing. Thank you
