My Kenmore Elite (3yr.s old) also stopped making ice a couple of days ago.

I found that the Icemaker fill line had frozen. It took about an hour to thaw the line. The Ice had formed in the top of the Black 3/8's fill line that hangs from the top of the Freezer.

I turned off the water supply and disconnected the clear tubing that runs up the back of the freezer. There is a coupling midway up the back that has a ring that can be depressed to release the tubing. I tried to blow thru the tubing, it was blocked. I inserted a small screwdriver in the black fill tube and could fill the ice block.I turned the freezer control to off and used a syringe (?) with warm water to flush thru the black tube. Used a bowl to catch the water as it drained back down. About an hour to get all the ice out. Must be a better way...

Of course I removed the icemaker and took the cardboard cover off the back and the bottom front grill off before I found the problem to be the fill line. This was another hour.

While I had it apart I cleaned the condenser coil.

The best part is that I found the wiring schematic for the refrigerator and a separate detail on the icemaker. Both were folded very small and wedged into the plastic front grill.
I scanned these so If anyone needs a copy, post here and I will email.
Wish there was a appliance site these could be added to.

Still not sure what caused the line to freeze, I turned the freezer setting from 6 back to 5. It has made 3 batches of ice since the fix so I'm hoping for the best.
Hope this helps someone.
