Hi Abeng,

Have you tried using a temporary extension cord
to apply power directly to the motor to prove that it spins. If not, you will need to trace power through the timer to the motor.

Connect a voltmeter to the power connections
on the motor and slowly turn the timer to see
if power is getting there.
If you don't have a voltmeter, you should not be
trying such repairs yourself.

The motor has a start winding which may be deprived of power by the centrifuagal contacts
having bad connections.
The motor will still get hot but it will not start
without these contacts being cleaned.
(You have to take the motor out and take it apart to do this.)
Try turning it on to the cool dry cycle and wait
for 10 minutes to see if the motor gets hot to the touch. That proves that the start winding is
not working.

Good hunting... Don't burn down the house eh?

Ron
