Our Kenmore recently started leaking, noticed from the bottom right corner.
After taking apart, I noticed the tray for "liquid chlorine bleach" has a hose connected to it. At some part in the cycle water is put into this container to pick up the bleach, then it flows down into a container underneath, where it then goes into the (drum?) through another hose. I noticed water wasn't flowing from this secondary tray. This being the case, it would overflow and create my mess. The reason it wouldn't flow, is it has a strainer built into it.
Once I cleaned this, the water can flow through.
If you haven't taken your machine apart, you don't need to, you just may need to pop the top cover off (4 little tabs) its still connected to a hose but you can get at the filter on the underneath tray.
