Hello, my name is Nikki. I own a '96 Maxada 626 LX. When I first got the car, it only had about 23K miles on it. After a year in a half, at about 45K I had to have the transimmission replaced. After replacing the transmission, the o/d off light continued to stay on. After having having the codes reset, then the starting problem began. At first, my car wouldn't start while it was in park...I had to shift the gears into drive before it would crank. It had been doing that for about a 2-3 weeks now. today, it won't crank. the radio plays, all of the starting light shop on the dash, but the engine won't turn or even make a sound like it's turning. I don't believe that it is my starter, because there was never a problem with hesitation while cranking. Do you have any idea what could be the problem? Do you think it's stuck in gears?
