Most times flushing the area with lots of water will stop the breakdown of the concrete. But now as to dealing with the damage Larfarge corporation has a section on partial depth repairs that explains your options much better then I can here. When you get to the site click on tech tips and training next screen tech tips and finally partial depth repairs.
