Hello. I need how-to advice on how to build a 6 ft circular fire pit from odd size stones. I want it to be simple, just 18"-20" high, circular, maybe 12" thick. Just something that will look good and will be used to have a camp fire. I thought abot using the 4" conder blocks for the inside wall and use the stones on the exterior of the wall, with mortar holding the stones together. Any advice? I don't know what to use for the top surface. Thanks.
