Read the response to step repair just below this . Ardex may have an answer for your problem. As far as an asphalt topping over the concrete you will have problems with the thickness of the topping as far as drainage if the apron in front of your door does not slope enough. I believe that most asphalt requires atleast a 2" thickness for a drive but do check with a blacktop company for their requirements.
