I recently removed an interior wall only to find a window that was covered on the outside with stucco. Now I need to remove the stucco. I have been told to saw cut a hole a little larger than the window opening but I don't know how to apply the stucco material. I looked at another web site that gave me various mixtures for stucco (lime vs portland cement) but no directions on application. Do I apply it like a past around 1/2 inch think per layer, let it dry then reapply? Someone said I needed chicken wire or metal. Where would that apply? Thanks for your help.
