: : I have a 8 year old home with a poured concrete basement and 6 basement
: : windows. The basement windows are aluminum framed which fit into a
: : larger steel frame which in turn is embeded in the poured concrete. The
: : windows are single paine and coupled with the aluminum frame tend to sweat alot during the winter.
: : I cannot find a manufacturers name/mark anywhere on the window. I was told they probably were supplied by the same company which installed the basement.
: : Are you familair with this type of window and are there insulated replacements
: : available and if so how much do they cost? Dimensions are about 12"x31".

: Carl
: Sorry I am not familiar with the windows you describe. But you should be able to replace them with almost any maufactures basement type window. I checked with the local lumber yards here and the 3 I asked all said they could get a replacement but without knowing the finish you want or type of glass they could not quote a price.
: Jeff

Have your old windows removed and order vinyl replacements for the remaining opening any contractor should be able to help you
