The 24' dia. pool I installed last summer was a piece of cake, just follow the manufacturers instructions that come with it. I took extra time and rented a tamper for the base, dirt first, then for the 2 yards of mason sand, I used a transit to level. I did the same with the dirt first , levelling off the dirt area first. Be careful not to dig down to far unless you are fencing the pools upper edge otherwise the 4 ft. sides can act as the fence for kids and building code stuff. Hope this helps. Brad
