I have a popcorn ceiling in the living room and I want to get rid of it. Is it possible to simply cover it with sheet rock or pine? Is this a real messy job? Thanks.

Answer:
Make sure your pop corn does not contain asbestos. If it does I would not remove it myself. It is costly but better have the pro's do it.
