About every half hour the well pump comes on and runs about 30 seconds. The pressure tank gauge shows 46 psi. This well was put into service in 1995 and there hasn't been any problems with the water supply.

The pressure is dropping due to a leak or valve leak-by, so the pump switch turns the pump on to re-establish the pressure.
