A few of my sills are rotten. How do I just replace the sills?

Answer:
I just learned this year that what I thought was the whole bottom of the window, the sill, was really just the front part that sticks out from the house. I think it's called bull nosing. I got it at a real lumber yard not a big box store. Since part of the old piece was rotten it was easy to chip out and then replace. Of course if it is actually the whole bottom that is rotten then you basically need a new window.
