We just brought a mattress home from storage and it is musty. How can I remove the odor?

Answer:
One of the best ways is to put outdoors on some sort of support to prevent the ground dampness from penetrating the matress and allow the all day sun to dry out the mattress thoroughly. If you have a bedframe, you might just set that up in the yard and turn the mattress over until it is baked good on both sides. A Lysol spray might also help with the odor and kill any mold spores that remain.
