Sunday morning I was draining the water from the bathtub and all of a sudden I head a noise from the tub like it was stopped up and sure enough it was stopped up, so I used a plunger to help the water drain. Well, I left the bathroom and returned to find that the tub was draining, but a puddle of water was on the floor. My son took a shower the next day and there was still more water draining on the floor. HELP! HELP!

Answer:
Often hair, etc. will build up and block plug holes.

The conection under the bath is a compression unit that uses a rubber washer to seal the waste pipe to the bath. This has seperated and caused the leak due to the plunger action. Remove the side panel of the bath, push the pipe back into the bath outlet, reseat the washer and tighten the nut. Only tighten by hand!! Check for leaks!!!

In future, try using a chemical drain cleaner, no pressure so no more leaking pipes!!!
