: I have just installed W. flooring and am now trying to tackle the stairs. The walls on the sides of the stairs are not even and look even worse. Are there ways to put say, a triangle of the laminate on the walls to make them look "finished" , and what about that 1/4 in spacing that you are supposed to leave for expansion... is that necessary when you are gluing the treads and riser down? Please ans,. quickly as I'm awaiting your response before starting this aspect of the job. Also, I tried to access Wilsonart and was told Connection refused... ??????? Thanks, Iceman

Wilsonart tells installers to use a high grade adhisive like Liquid Nails to install on the stairs. As for the wall problem, use a scribe and a stationary sander and the finish result should be great. I have personaly installed Wilsonart on over 1300 square feet in my house as well as 14 stairs.
