I'll be putting in a laminate floor next week and would like advice on the transition strip to use. The salesman said to use what is made for the transition, which is basically a quarter round with a flat part to overlap the flooring. However, I'm concerned about the quality of the carpet joint (we're having berber installed after I do the floor) if it just ends at a flush surface, and is not tucked under. Is this a valid concern.
