Interesting comment! How long would you figure the urine stains were into the floor itself? It sounds like a perfect solution for folks that have the time to try to rid the stains, by using this method continuously. It actually took out the stains in the flooring after the sanding process?

I often encounter pet urine stains and often the solution is to find existing boards in closets and use them in the stained areas as wood ages over time and new will not work.

Thanks for your comments. I'll have to try that on a sample piece.
