I pulled up the vinyl floor in my kitchen and bathrooms. There is adhesive that I can't get up on the wood floors from the prior vinyl. Can I use a leveling compound on the floor without fear of the adhesive interfering with a good attachment to the floor for the new vinyl I'm installing?
