: : : I am redoing my 4 1/2 by 8 ft bathroom I am going to install a corner toilet for more room so I have to move the flange for which I will use plastic I would like to know what is the best way to cut the the cast iron waste pipe leadind from the tiolet so I can mate the pvc to it can it be cut with a saws all thanks please someone answer my question.

: : Cast ron pipe can be easily cut with an abrasive metal cutting blade for a circular saw or a diamond coated abrasive blade for a reciprocating saw. The reciprocating saw is the simplest method.

Note of CAUTION: cast iron waste pipe is quite heavy. If attempting to "tap in" to a vertical section, be sure to first support the sections of pipe above the cut.
