: I recently purchased a new home. The beautiful hardwood floors were a major attraction. While moving our furniture in, the floor was accidently scratched. I'm wondering if there is anyway to repair the scratches without having to replace the planks. The scratches cross several planks.

Kenitra,
Try some steel wool and rub the scratches out. If the scratches are too deep for that, you can sand them by hand...
If the floors had a glossy finish, you may want to restore it by applying a new coat of polyurethane over the area you sand down.
