: I am building my own kitchen cabinets. So far I only need to make the doors. I purchased 21/2"
: maole stock to make them, but noticed that they
: are not the straightest wood that one might use.
: My queation is: Is there a way that during the
: building stage that I can clamp or make the doors
: straight? Or, should I just have somone build it for me @ around $9.00 per suare foot? My cabinets
: will be built with insert doors.

Joseph,
Cabinet doors should be rail and stile with a panel, or they will not only be difficult to make square and flat in the building stage, they will likely warp with time. If you are making the rail and stile, panel doors, you can first true up your wood, but don't use warping pieces for any long sections.. or you will have to deal with it later!
I wouldn't say you need to hire out for the doors unless you are completely incomfortable with making your own.. Just recognize that as you go on, you will get better. Also, the savings of doing it yoruself will pay for the tools you will need to do the job... (that is what I always tell myself!)
