Does anyone know how to get candle wax out of carpet, I left a candle in the car?

The best way to remove wax from carpet is to place a brown paper grocery bag over the contaminated area then iron the area. The wax will absorb into the bag. Repeat as necessary. You will be left with a slight stain that can then be removed by combining 2 tablespoons of dishwashing detergent and 3 tablespoons of vinegar in a quart of warm water. Work the mixture into the carpet then blot with a clean towel or sponge. Works great.
