: I am putting down plywood on floor joist on 16" centers. There will be linoleum put on this floor. My question is, should I use 3/4" or 1 and 1/8" tongue and groove plywood?

3/4 plywood is engineered to be able to span 24in on center floor joists and still meet 40lb per sq inch loads recommended by most building codes.

A 16in OC span is well above recommended code minimums for 3/4 in plywood or OSB.
