This might sound a little crazy but it really works. Buy a 5# bag of regular brown potatos and poke a lot of holes in each one with a fork then take them and spread them out a long the floor by the walls and in each corner. Within days the musty smell will be gone. Somehow the potatos absorb the mold and mildew.
