How can I remove 100 percent silicone sealant from acrylic without harming the acrylic? This is in a shower.

I found a really sharp 1/2" chisel, moved slowly and with pressure on the tip - keeping absolutely flat to your surface - only a couple of inches at a time. First the top half, then the bottom over the same distance - and it peels off.
