I have seen vinyl siding at shows that looks like cedar shake siding. I would like to locate the manufacturer and install it on my home.

Georgia Pacific makes them. A .pdf file on it is available at: www.gp.com/siding/pdf/154202.pdf
Certainteed also makes them. A .pdf file on their "Cedar Impressions" can be found at: http://www.certainteed.com/consumer/siding/index.html

Try this web site. They have cedar shakes in vinyl, cedar shingles in vinyl, and fancy butt (or cuts)cedar shingles in vinyl. They fancy butts are shapes such as hexagon, fishscale and others.
