We're having trouble replacing our old toilet seat. The bolts, (I think they might be brass), holding the old seat in place are corroded and we can't budge them. The toilet is also in a tight spot which makes access to and getting a good grip on these nasty old bolts difficult. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Answer:
Use a hacksaw or close-quarter saw, (a hacksaw blade with a handle at one end), or a reciprocating saw and simply cut through the bolts. Also, a dremel is fine if you have one.
