How can I insulate my outside wall without removing the walls themselves?

You can have insulation blown in. There are companies which specialize in this. If you have vinyl or aluminum siding, they can lift the siding drill their holes and replace the siding. For other siding types it might be best to drill from the inside and patch the drywall. In any case, blown -in insulation is the option. You can do it yourself as well, a store like Home Depot will rent you the equipment you need to do the job.
