I live in Central N.J. and have a sloped roof that is 95% of the time in the shade. I have a significant amount of moss and mildew growing on the roof. It does not appear to be leaking. How can I remove the moss?

Answer:
Do a web search for "zinc strips". You need to spray a bleach solution to clean off the mildew, and brush off the moss, and attach zinc strips near the roof peak.
