Our Frigidaire dishwasher has more and more water in the bottom after each cycle. How can I fix it? It isn't normal, is it?

Answer:
I had this same question not too long ago. The answer is quite simple. YES, SOME remaining water is normal. No one has been adequately able to explain to me WHY that is normal, but that it is.

This is all provided that the amount of water is small. Normally, it should not be higher than the level of the trap/drain/motor. It rests in the center and usually has a plastic "grate" looking cap. The water should not be above that.
If it is, (say the entire bottom of the dishwashing bin is full), it is possible that the motor which is responsible for sucking that water back in and out to your disposal or waste line is going out. Good luck. The main determinant is HOW MUCH WATER is being left behind? Enough just in the center of the drain area? Don't worry!
