I am renting a room from a landlord that won't fix my windows that stick. I've pulled stomach and back muscles trying to open and close them! How can I fix this problem myself? The windows are the old slide up and down kind. Will WD-40 work? Thanks!

Answer:
Rub a bar of dry soap along the tracks or use a tube or powdered graphite from a hardware store. WD will work but only temporarily.
