What is the best way to cut crown moulding to make the best looking joint in a corner? Because the two pieces are at such an angle, (crown moulding), I can't seem to figure it out. Am trying to minimize waste of the moulding. Thanks for any assistance.

Answer;
I believe you place the crown moulding in the jig or miter saw, as if it were on the wall and ceiling, on the angle. Do not lay it flat horzontally or vertically. This is for the inside corner, for the outside corner, turn the moulding upside down and place on the angle, then cut. What I have done in the past is actually cut small samples, one for the inside and one for the outside corners. This way as you are cutting if you get confussed you can always pick up the samples and place them in the jig for left, right, inside or outside corners. Good luck.
