Building a Barbecue

I am looking for a site that may have diagrams or plans on how to build a barbecue from construction blocks and bricks.

Check www.bbq.com; I don't think the site itself has plans, but there are links and email addresses for other resources which may help you.

Repair of cracks in cement blocks

I have a cement block BBQ on a concrete slab. The slab has dropped on the ends causing a split up the middle of the brick BBQ.  How do I repair it? Is it likely the slab will keep dropping?

Something like this is hard to answer the slab probably will move again and any surface repair will have to be redone. You may be able to dig under the sides and get angle irons under the slab. Jack up the BBQ and pour a new slab with re-bar reinforcing set the unit back down and make any repairs needed to fill the cracks.
