Hanging bathroom mirror
I have recently wallpapered my drywall bathroom and want to hang a 30" x 40"
mirror. I purchased glue that is supposed to be "liquid nail". I am not confident that the wallpaper
will support the heavy mirror using glue alone. However, if I use mirror brackets, they cause the mirror to set
out from the wall just enough that the glue will not make contact with the wall. What to do? Brackets, glue, both?
Help!
The brackets, installed correctly, should be enough.
I mounted our mirror that way 16 years ago. It is 36x48 and is held up by 4 of the mirror brackets. (2 on top
2on bottom). Just make sure you hit the studs in the wall and don't hit a water pipe!
